An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen

I got an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book (thanks Netgalley.com!) and I can assure you, this book will deserve the press it’ll get. These authors know how to write a taut, fast-paced psychological thriller that keeps you up reading late into the night. The main character, Jessica, becomes a part of a psychology study on morality and ethics  with a Dr. Shields, and she gets a lot more than she bargains for. There are a huge number of twists in this sharply written thriller by the authors of The Wife Between Us.

A Serial Killer’s Daughter by Kerri Rawson

When a serial killer is caught, the public threat is over and people can breathe a sigh of relief. However, for their family, their horror is just beginning. This book by the daughter of notorious serial killer BTK is about her journey after the arrest of her father and how she grapples with the knowledge that her life up until his arrest had essentially been a lie. I can’t wait to hear the other side of this true crime story.

The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker

I loved her previous book, The Age of Miracles, about what happens to a teenager and her family as the earth’s rotation slows. This book is about an epidemic of people falling asleep and being unable to wake up. However, their brain activity is showing that they are having vivid, epic dreams. This author writes beautifully and I’m really looking forward to seeing how her sophomore novel plays out.

99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne

I love fluffy romance every now and then, and this one looks like it will fit the bill. Darcy and her brother Jaime inherit their grandmother’s cottage and are tasked with fixing it up and selling it. The person they hire to flip it? Jaime’s childhood best friend, Tom. The only problem is that Darcy has had a crush on him forever, and Tom & Jaime’s friendship takes precedence, no matter how hard Darcy has tried to woo Tom in the past. She was supposed to hand over the reins to Tom and give him creative control of the cottage -- but she’s considering staying to help. I can’t wait to see if sparks fly!

She Lies in Wait by Gytha Lodge

The tagline for this book is “Six friends. One killer. Who do you trust?” This thriller is about six friends who spend the night in the woods -- but only five emerge. Her body is found thirty years later. Friendship, betrayal, and whiplash-inducing twists:  What more could you want?
